Development of KNU virtual lecture-practical course "Assessment of immune reactivity by flow cytometry".
The aim of the course is to provide students with basic knowledge of the principles of assessment of immune reactivity (immunogram structure), as well as to teach to analyze flow cytometry data to characterize the population composition of lymphocytes and assess the functional status and metabolic polarization of phagocytes.
The course involves mastering the principles of assessment of immune reactivity (immune status) by flow cytometry and skills of basic analysis of flow cytometry data. Among them are immunophenotyping of peripheral blood leukocytes, assessment of phagocytic activity and oxidative metabolism of phagocytes with determination of reactivity reserves.
