The course program provides for familiarization of students with modern scientific ideas about cell and tissue cultivation technologies, the production of biologically active substances and tissue preparations using biological agents using scientific and engineering methods; familiarization with the classification, functioning, sources and modern methods for obtaining stem cells, monoclonal antibodies used in various areas of biotechnology and medicine; mastery of basic methods for obtaining cell populations in vitro. Within the framework of the discipline, basic technologies used in various areas of biotechnology and medicine are considered.
